Clone Employees First Break Assignments Feature
The Clone Employees First Break Assignments feature is a very helpful management feature that will automatically and simultaneously copy one or more employees First Break schedule assignments to their Lunch and Last Break columns. The First Break Column Assignments include: First Break Start Time The start time for the employee. Position The job position of the employee. Relief Employee The same employee who will take a break or a different employee who will provide a relief break. Inherit Position The Relief Employee who will inherit the Employee's job position once the Employee's break has completed. Example: You have 26 employees and you have setup the First Break column for various break start times, self employee relief, employees relieving other employees, mutual relief (two employees relieving each other), other employees inheriting job positions and some not inheriting job positions, some employees changing their job positions after completing their breaks and some are not, etc.. and you want to mirror this First Break schedule setup throughout the entire workday shift. Instead of having to take a lot of time, attention and focus to manually duplicate all of the employees First Break assignment settings to their Lunch and Last Break columns, Give'em a Break's clone feature easily, automatically and simultaneously completes the task immediately. Once this feature is used, all scheduled employees assignments will be symmetrically and conveniently configured to operate employees breaks in a organized, controlled, purposeful, concise and tranquil manner. Important: The First Break Start Time option will clone the First Break Start Time of the selected employees to those employees Lunch and Last Break columns. This selection was included to basically and conveniently synch up the First, Lunch and Last Break Start Times. If you choose this option, you must then modify the employees Lunch and Last Break Start Times accordingly. Example: The First Break Start Time is set for 10:00am. The Lunch and Last Break Start Times are then cloned to that time. You can then highlight all employees in the Employees list and select 12:00pm for the Lunch Break Start Time and 2:00pm for the Last Break Start Time. Next, use the Modify Break Start Times feature to modify the minutes for select Employees based on their scheduled assignments, if needed.
